Botanical & Floral Care Guide
Expert Dutch floristry techniques to maximize bloom longevity and help your living plants thrive in Qatar’s indoor climate.
How to Care for Fresh Cut Blooms
With proper care, your Plaza Hollandi bouquet will remain radiant for 7 to 12 days in air-conditioned interiors.
Trim Stems at a 45° Angle
Use clean, sharp floral shears or a knife. Cut 1 to 2 cm off the bottom of each stem at a 45-degree angle. This prevents stems from sealing against the vase base and maximizes water uptake.
Refresh Water Every 2 Days
Bacteria in stagnant water is the #1 reason flowers wilt prematurely. Empty the vase, rinse thoroughly, and refill with cool, clean tap water every 48 hours.
Dissolve Floral Food
Add half a sachet of the included Dutch flower food with each water change. It provides carbohydrates for bud opening and mild bactericides to keep water crystal clear.
Keep Away from Direct A/C & Sunlight
In Qatar, avoid placing arrangements directly under ceiling A/C vents or in hot window alcoves. Also keep away from fruit bowls, which emit ethylene gas causing rapid aging.

Naturalist Principles of Floral Longevity
Every stem we condition follows centuries-old botanical principles recorded in our master florist herbarium. By combining clean diagonal 45-degree angle cuts, floral nutrient balancing, and room-temperature hydration, we ensure your blooms retain their vibrant vitality in Qatar.
